Emu Point playground is situated right on the beach front. It is a fantastic place to come on a nice warm day to combine a swim in the ocean and a play at the park. There are a few barbeque areas with tables and chairs scattered around. The playground itself has a couple of swings, one being a toddler seat. Children can climb on the rope obstacle course or join a friend on the stand-up see-saw. Miss 3 particularly enjoyed the pirate ship that was mounted on springs. On our last trip down South we found this fantastic newly developed playground located at Port Geographe Marina – 8km from Busselton Jetty.   The playground is nature based, has a stepping stones running down the length of the play area.   Concrete tunnels to crawl through or climb over.  Wooden stepping logs.  A small slide on a grassy hill.   Wheelchair accessible roundabout.  Plenty of grassed areas to kick a ball.  And lots of pathways to ride your bike or scooter.   After a play, we headed down to the lagoon, during our visit this area was still under development but we still Read more…

Middleton beach playground is a fantastic spot to take the kids to burn off some energy. It is located right on the Middleton beach in Albany. The main play structure is a large wooden pirate ship. After a long 2 year wait with the foreshore being closed the new park was officially opened in October 2019. Situated at the northern end of Geraldton, just up from the Geraldton Museum, Beresford Foreshore Park is a great place to stop in on your next road trip. Eyre Park has had a huge upgrade approx 1 year ago. It is such a lovely place to come and let the kids burn off all that extra energy. There are plenty of tables and chairs dotted around the park, and even a few barbeques. There is also a large gazebo that you could sit under for a bit of shade.
