After a long 2 year wait with the foreshore being closed the new park was officially opened in October 2019. Situated at the northern end of Geraldton, just up from the Geraldton Museum, Beresford Foreshore Park is a great place to stop in on your next road trip. Located approx. 433km North of Perth is Geraldton. A place i spent a lot of time during School Holidays visiting family. I hadn’t been back in over 3 years so I decided to pack up my Hubby and the Kids and show them where I used to stay as a kid and what we used to get up to. Geraldton is a great holiday destination for families with kids of all ages, and it’s also a great stop off point to grab a quick bite to eat and a leg stretch if you’re travelling further up North. The Town Foreshore super playground is located directly outside the Geraldton Yacht Club overlooking Geraldton bay and is more suited to kids aged 4+.
