Hilton Park is tucked away in the middle of Duncraig. You can access it from the end of 6 cul-de-sacs, one being Hilton Place. This is great as there are no busy roads running alongside it though it means there isn’t a lot of parking available. Hilton Park is a large park with plenty of tall trees offering shade. Vellgrove Reserve is a simple yet entertaining park located in Middle Swan. We discovered this quiet, colourful playground after making a wrong turn. My little girl was in love with the colourful stepping logs, so we had to stop for a play. The playground consists of 3 main structures: a wooden swing set, blocks of colourful stepping logs and a rock climbing frame with a slide on the other side. Fantasy Park at Waikiki is a large accessible park with plenty of play areas for kids to explore, a sensory garden with animal sculptures, a dog friendly park and also the home to Rockingham’s only disc golf course.   It felt like we were walking into a fortress at first. There is so much to see and do at Caversham Wildlife Park! Feed the kangaroos, see the penguins being fed, gets photos with a koala, meet a wombat, possum, python and many more at the interactive meet & greet, play with the goats, join in the Farm Show (have you ever milked a cow before?!), and so much more! If you’ve ducked into Woolies at the Banksia Grove Shopping Centre recently, you’ll have probably noticed a new play area near the entrance. The bright and colourful play space has something to amuse most kids. The first thing we noticed was the slide. The ladder for this is built inside what looks like colourful metal crates. Wyong Reserve in Bentley is a great little park with a lot going on. The playground is fully fenced and has a pathway running around it that is designed as a road to ride scooters and bikes along.  There a few large speed humps, and we said next time we come we will have to bring the scooter.
