Buggybuddys Guide to Parks in Perth and Playgrounds in Perth
Find Playgrounds near me
The ultimate guide to the best playgrounds and parks in Perth! Kids love burning off energy at parks and playgrounds, and Perth’s got some of the best in the world. We’ve seen many new super parks open up recently with some impressive play equipment, features and facilities. Best of all, they’re all FREE!
We’ve listed sand and no-sand parks as we know this can be an issue with some parents not wanting their kids to play in sand. We’ve added categories to filter parks with water features, enclosed fenced playgrounds, partly fenced and non-fenced. Those with open water where you can visit the ducks and enjoy some wildlife during your trip to the park. Many parks have toilets. However, some local community playgrounds don’t, which can be a deal breaker if you’re potty training your little one or want to stay longer than an hour. So we’ve listed parks with toilets available.
Lastly, we’ve added details of where playgrounds are close to local coffee shops, cafes and restaurants. Therefore you can grab a bite to eat before or after your play, or grab a takeaway coffee.

McGiffen Park Alkimos is in a new Alkimos estate perfect for older kids. The park is also perfect if you are after a quieter play. The estate is accessed via only one road, which is still under construction, meaning most people probably don’t actually know of its existence. I actually had to pull over and check I wasn’t driving into a building site. But once you reach the park you realise it’s the perfect spot to let some big kids run wild. The park itself is mostly fenced off and, of course, surrounded by very quiet streets. The park has Read more…

A park for big and little kids, with shade sails, soft flooring, multiple ways to play, and a fully fenced area, sounds perfect. Bracadale Park, All Abilities Playground in Canning Vale, is just that. It is designed so that all kids of varying abilities can enjoy and play. The standout for me is that this park is fully fenced. Even with just one kid you feel like you can never look away, with two kids or even more, it’s impossible trying to find a playground trip relaxing. The park is secure and large enough that you can easily spend a Read more…
