All Family Holidays

Located approx. 433km North of Perth is Geraldton. A place i spent a lot of time during School Holidays visiting family. I hadn’t been back in over 3 years so I decided to pack up my Hubby and the Kids and show them where I used to stay as a kid and what we used to get up to. The Busselton Foreshore Toddler Playground is a great asset to this area where families love to hang out.  It’s on the opposite side to the  Busselton Foreshore Adventure water playground, next to the side of the Goose Restaurant.   The nature playground is sand based and partly shaded with shade sails.  There’s plenty of grass around the playground to put a picnic blanket down and enjoy a few hours here.  You can grab a coffee, ice cream and lunch from the local cafe on the foreshore near the Jetty. Kirup Kabins – on this picturesque 40-acre farm we have 6 beautiful 2 & 3br self-contained cabins. All with magical views from Spacious veranda’s which overlook the farm and down the valley. The verandas have an outdoor setting, BBQ and gate. We have friendly farm animals with names cows, sheep, lambs, chickens, geese and Ernie the emu. Animal feeding is each morning. Its great fun. After a long 2 year wait with the foreshore being closed the new park was officially opened in October 2019. Situated at the northern end of Geraldton, just up from the Geraldton Museum, Beresford Foreshore Park is a great place to stop in on your next road trip. The park hugs the beach and features an awesome playground. The fully fenced playground is aimed more for younger kids (under 10) and has a nautical theme with a big wooden boat taking centre stage. The ocean themed Busselton Foreshore Adventure Playground opened in November 2018.  Found right next to the iconic Busselton Jetty, the main feature of the playground is a giant ship, which is partially capsizing on a large decked wave, as a huge blue whale and monstrous Kraken swim around it!
