Situated right across the road from the famous pristine Smiths Beach, Smiths Beach Resort offers luxury beachfront accommodation. It is perfectly located in the Margaret River region, and is also in close proximity to Bunker Bay, Yallingup and Dunsborough. The cape to cape walking track is also at its door step.
We recently wandered out yonder down south and stayed at Smiths Beach Resort. For our family of four (2 adults and 2 kids), we opted for the 2 bedroom garden view villa, with partial ocean view. Our apartment was very spacious. 2 huge bedrooms both with en-suite bathroom, a little kitchenette in the master bedroom (downstairs), a full-size kitchen upstairs, huge balcony with bbq facilities and a view to die for, a fire place, 3 tvs, a study area, outdoor shower, it was simply amazing!
One of my favourite amenity was the washer dryer which means no laundry to be done when I get home. When we got into our apartment, we were welcomed with chocolates, wine, coffee and milk in the fridge.
The car port was right at the apartment so it was really convenient for unloading and loading the car. There are other accommodation options to suit everyone’s needs and budget, ranging from the beach shacks to a 4 bedroom beach house. There’s something for everyone.
We had breakfast and a 2-course dinner included in our package and we had it at the resort’s on-site restaurant, Lamont’s. It was spectacular. With a full belly in the morning, we could venture out on our day’s adventure. After a busy day, a relaxing afternoon by the beach and the apartment, it was really convenient to have an on-site restaurant which gives us more time to enjoy the resort. On one of the night, we got take away fish and chips from Lamont’s and enjoyed it in the comfort of our room.
At Smiths Beach Resort, there is also a swimming pool, a deli and cellar door. A short drive from the resort also brings you to Dunsborough town centre and also numerous wineries. Ngilgi cave, canal rocks and many wonderful sights are all a short drive away from the resort.
We had an amazing holiday staying at Smiths Beach Resort and the kids are already hungering to go back there soon.
