Lake Leschenaultia, found close to Mundaring, is a top day out in the Perth Hills for families. Thereโs swimming, bike riding, bushwalking, picnicking and now thereโs even more reason to visit. A few years ago I wrote the original blog on Pioneer Avon Park, which is located on banks of Avon River in York, fast forward to 2020 the park is unrecognisable! The playground is nature-based and features recycled timber seating throughout, sheltered picnic tables, BBQs, toilets and plenty of shade!
