Finding an activity that keeps both kids and parents entertained can feel impossible sometimes. That’s what makes Cubetown such a pleasant surprise! Located in Rivervale (where iFly building is), Cubetown is the new indoor gaming experience with the perfect interactive adventure for the whole family to enjoy! Specially designed for kids 6+ (and parents that are young at heart), families can bond over 6 different arenas with thrilling challenges, epic battles and just have loads of fun together! Put on your running shoes as the games not only test your quick thinking, but also stamina and physical agility- it will be quite a workout!

Think glowing LED floors, climbing walls, reaction games, target shooting, memory puzzles, and fast-paced team competitions- all designed to get you moving while still feeling like you’re gaming. And honestly, parents usually end up just as competitive as the kids!
What we love:
Before playing, teams will choose a team name, which they will see on the leaderboard as they play. The staff kindly explained how the games worked at the start and each team are given a QR code which we use to play in each room.

Playtime is one-hour in total. You get 10 mins (which is just enough time) to play in each room.

Games are played in different game modes where you can choose to play cooperatively as a team (up to 6 players) or compete head-to-head with each other. The touch screens are easy for the kids to use to select the different play modes and difficulty level, and scores and time remaining are displayed on them while the game is running.

There are 6 different themed rooms with their unique games and challenges. Each room also came with a slot on the wall for you to put your phone there so you can record your whole game (how thoughtful is that)!
We started with the Swish Room, where we had to shoot the balls into the correct coloured baskets. Difficulty level increases as the LED backboard changes colour quickly!
Vertigo Room had to be the girls’ favourite room! With over 100+ climbing holds with LED lights and touch sensors on the wall, we had to reach for the lit targets while trying to keep out of the danger zone on the floor. This game not only tests your grip strength, but also your stamina and coordination! Everyone was breaking into a sweat by the end of the game!

With a screen grid filled with 500+ LED lights, families will love this newly included Pixels Room! Using the controller pads with your hands and feet, this will be an extreme test of your hand, feet and eye coordination as you battle it out on classic games like Tetris, Simon Says and even Snake!

Play “Stop, Freeze and Run” in the Sequence Room. The huge Eye Watcher at the top of the room can track your every move with its motion sensor while the game is on. Making any sudden movement while you are not supposed to will trigger the alarm!

The 2 other rooms are located on the top floor with lift access.
Colourful hexagonal tile targets fill the wall in the Bullseye Room. Test your precision and accuracy by hitting the correctly coloured targets with the balls.

Another highlight of Cubetown would be the Cubes Room where kids can play “Floor is Lava”. Watch the glowing tiles on the floor lit up and compete for territory or challenge your memory!

Thinking of a birthday party? Cubetown has a party room which is available for booking.

Checking in was easy at the front counter, it’s best to book online on their website as there is allocated play time to choose from. After the session finish, families can check their scores on the leader board again. Only selected drinks are available for purchase here and toilets are found inside the building. Free parking is available at the car park just right outside the venue.
