Today we discovered the newly opened pirate playground in Ellenbrook. It’s located on Verbana Drive near Cashman Avenue. It is fully fenced (although there are a few areas where little ones could escape in the space under the fencing), shaded and there is soft fall and well as sand within in the park. Hesperia Park in Ellenbrook is a fantastic new playground that features a big slide and 7 meter high lookout tower! As well as the playground, the park has plenty of grass with a big kick about area, shady spots, an exercise zone, nature play and lots of footpaths, perfect for a scoot. If you haven’t heard about the amazing Jungle Park near Whiteman Park, you’d have had to be living under a rock. Little Chef and I were heading there for a play, after lunch in the Swan Valley. On our way, we stumbled on a brand new spot that we’d never heard about – Flamewood Park Playground in Brabham. Augustus Park located in Jane Brook is situated overlooking a beautiful lake. The main play area is mainly made up of ropes which is something different to the usual playground. William Henry Oval Caversham is situated nearby to Caversham Community Centre, and close to Suffolk Street before Colorino Avenue. The oval itself hosts a lot of community sports and also has two playgrounds that are worth a visit. Tucked away in The Vines is Emms Green which is home to a quirky little playground. The playground has a focus on imaginative play.
