At the new Clementine Estate, in Upper Swan, there’s a new playground to explore. It’s worth a little look, if you happen to be near the northern end of the Swan Valley. Found on Citrus Road, the small but mighty playground is decked out in vibrant citrus colours.
There’s a huge lush lawn too, to run about, kick a ball and even take a roll down the hilly embankment.
The wood chipped based play area has a distinct nature play feel, with the majority of the equipment being climbing orientated. There’s stepping logs, colourful climbing walls, as well as giant pipes to hide in, climb on,
or use as a cubby house or fort.
The smooth concreate slope doubles’ as a climbing wall, and slide.
There’s a little something for all ages. The double flying fox is sure to be a hit, especially as you can race each other!
I may have raced Little Chef… It was a tie – and good fun!
In terms of facilities, there’s a large covered picnic table area, and water fountain.
Plenty of pathways circle the park, making it a good spot for a scoot, but please be aware with little ones there is a little standing water in the swampy area.
Find Foreshore Playground on Citrus Street, Upper Swan.
