William Henry Oval Caversham is situated nearby to Caversham Community Centre, and close to Suffolk Street before Colorino Avenue.
The oval itself hosts a lot of community sports and also has two playgrounds that are worth a visit.
The first play area is suitable for older children, ages 3 and up, depending on your child’s climbing ability. The play area is sand-based, featuring a variety of equipment for the children to use.
There are rock climbing walls, slides, assorted monkey bars, fireman pole, ladders, spider web climbing frame and balancing poles.
The second playground is connected to the community centre. It’s all fenced and has its own grassed area.
The equipment is designed for smaller children and is so convenient that it is gated and next to the larger children’s playground. The smaller children’s playground features a tunnel, a bridge, a music section, and much more.
Because the playgrounds are adjacent to one another, William Henry Oval is ideal for families with children of all ages. There is shade and benches to sit on, and parking is conveniently located at the community centre.
