Room on the Broom – Live in Perth!

Wednesday, 7 April to Sunday, 11 April
State Theatre Centre of Western Australia, 174-176 William Street, Perth

Share the magic of Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler’s classic picture book with your family LIVE on stage this April!
*****************************************************************
CDP presents Tall Stories’ production of
ROOM ON THE BROOM
adapted from the award winning picture book by Julia Donaldson & Axel Scheffler, published by Macmillan Children’s books.
How the cat purred and how the witch grinned,
As they sat on their broomstick and flew through the wind…
The witch and her cat are flying happily on their broomstick – until a stormy wind blows away the witch’s hat, bow and wand.
A helpful dog, bird and frog find the witch’s lost things, and they all hop on the broom for a ride. But this broomstick’s not meant for five and – CRACK – the broom snaps in two!
When a hungry dragon appears, who will save the poor witch? And will there ever be room on the broom for everyone?
After its recent sell-out tour, the team behind The Gruffalo and The Gruffalo’s Child return for the summer holidays with songs, laughs and scary fun for children aged 3 and up – and their grown-ups…
*****************************************************************
This event was originally scheduled to take place from 21 – 25 October 2020. All tickets purchased for the original dates will remain valid for the rescheduled dates from 4 – 7 April 2021.

Saturday, 17 April, 8am to 12pm
Perth City Farm, 1 City Farm Place, East Perth

Come along to Perth City Farm for the first CrueltyFree Enviro event of 2021
There will be unique local business stallholders, a most accurate tarot/tealeaf reader, very cool live music throughout the morning and informative animal/enviro organisations to glean knowledge from.
I will be donating $5.00 from each stallholder exchange to Kaarakin Black Cockatoo Conservation Centre and your gold coin donation at entry will also go to this wonderful organisation.
Please note that the Perth City Farm Farmers Market (in the Courtyard) is separate from this event and not everything will be vegan.
However all stallholders in the barn will be 100% vegan, cruelty free and eco aware.
Many thanks to the very talented Maddie Harris for incorporating her version of my friend Jacquie Haskayne’s event pic. 🙂. Love her graphic design work!!
