Around the corner from the well-known Jungle Park in the Swan Valley, a brand-new park has been constructed and is now open for play.
The 1.4 hectare Honeycomb park, located in Peet’s Brabham Estate, features a bee theme and 6-metre ‘honeycomb’ play structure
What a great park! The yellow and black honeycomb play structure is massive and includes a big, fast yellow slide. No fear of heights and fast speeds are required here!
My son aged 18 months tried his hand at this play structure; it is for bigger kids 4+. There are ladders that take you to the top of the structure where a massive slide brings you back down, and a fireman pole if you want to come down after the first level.
Around the large honeycomb play structure are toddler play elements including nature play, water play, a wooden seesaw, stepping logs, a round webbed swing, and a small cement slide.
Don’t forget to bring the kids bikes and scooters as there is a large scooter trail and BMX pump track.
The park has a lot of shade from large retained trees with picnic tables, BBQs and a large grassed area. Plus the all-important toilets
There is also a dog socialisation zone with agility equipment and grassed areas.
I can’t get over the parks being built these days, I don’t remember having anything like this growing up. Definitely, one to check out if you are in the area.
