Kids love a good scooter and bike park! Children get to practise their riding in a safe environment. Many have great features such as simulated roads with stop signs and petrol pumps. Great for imaginative play! Plus you can start teaching some bike safety skills. Others are more challenging with pump tracks and jumps.

Lake Monger Reserve is a fantastic destination for a family walk in Perth with kids of all ages. There are a few parking spots around Lake Monger Reserve, 3 of which are on Lake Monger Drive. If you use the car park nearest St Vincents Avenue you’ll see a wishing well and the largest playground in the reserve. In the heart of Beldon is Haddington Park Public Playground. It’s a mix of traditional play equipment and nature play. It’s a real gem with something for everyone. The main play structure in the playground is surrounded with soft white sand, and features a slide, a fireman pole, a steering wheel, climbing ropes, monkey bars and ladders. Clarkson Reserve, Maylands Clarkson Reserve is a hidden gem in the leafy suburb of Maylands. It features a small nature playground, bike and scooter paths and gorgeous river views. On arriving, Miss 4 raced to the play area. This is mostly sand-based and features wooden balancing beams and flat logs to hop across. Ashdale Park is a lovely playground situated in Darch. The playground is located at the rear of Ashdale Primary, adjacent to a small pocket of bushland. The playground here is partially shaded with shade sails. It is set well back from the road, down a pathway, so should be safe for little ones to play. Britannia Reserve Pump Track Britannia Reserve Pump Track is a 1.2km pump track and nature bike trail in Leederville. Close to the city, it’s a great spot to take active kids of all ages out riding. Britannia Reserve Pump Track was originally installed as part of a Pop-Up Play initiative in April 2019. It has quickly become a permanent fixture. The Perry Lakes Reserve is a 200 acre nature reserve found on the eastern edge of the larger Bold Park reserve in Floreat. There are two playgrounds here, set amongst beautiful trees, large grassed areas and two lakes.
