The UFO-inspired Bob Gordon Reserve Play Space is out-of-this-world fun! The fully fenced playground features everything from UFOs, swings, flying foxes, slides, and water play to all the essentials like toilets, BBQs, picnic shelters, shade and ample parking. Garvey Park is a great local park just at the end of Fauntleroy Avenue on the river’s edge in Ascot. The kids love the playground as it has something to suit both my sensible 5 year old and my adventurous almost 3 year old! The play equipment is all on sand with a large sail shade over most of the equipment which is great in the warmer months. Wicca Park is a great park with green grass, lovely large trees, picnic facilities, playground and huge rope climbing structure. It is located in Kewdale not far from the Belmont Forum and Reading Cinemas. The playground is sand based and has swings, slide and climbing frame. The swings are normal swings. The climbing structure has monkey bars, small flying fox and slide. This area is shaded naturally by the trees surrounding it. It was nicely shaded the day we visited.
