The Buggbuddys guide to parks with toilets in Perth! The ultimate guide to the best playgrounds and parks with toilet facilities in Perth! Kids love burning off energy at parks and playgrounds, and Perthโs got some of the best in the world. Best of all, playgrounds are FREE!
What’s great about parks with toilets?
Playgrounds and parks with toilets are a blessing when you’re toilet training! Many community parks are foregoing these facilities. However, if you’re in the middle of toilet-training or have a child with a tiny bladder, this may mean you only stay for an hour or so. Why not plan a longer play date? Find a park or playground with public toilets and make a morning or even a day or it!
In addition, we’ve added details of where playgrounds are close to local coffee shops, cafes and restaurants. Therefore you can grab a bite to eat before or after your play, or grab a takeaway coffee on the way. Donโt forget your reusable coffee mug!

Shorehavenโs Treasure Island Adventure Playground in Alkimos is one of those rare parks where the theming is so good that it genuinely feels like youโve stepped onto a storybook pirate island. Perched above the coast and looking out towards the Alkimos shipwreck, this large, oceanโthemed Playground combines big, exciting play equipment with an imaginative treasure hunt that keeps kids exploring long after theyโve tired themselves out on the slides. The star attraction is the deconstructed โshipwreckโ play structure. The manicured gardens themselves are a delight for the senses to walk around, featuring fragrant plants like lavender and rosemary โ my guess is that kids will make a dash for the playground found right next to it! The large, shaded playground has equipment for Read moreโฆ

The sheltered bay is the real hero here. A fringing reef protects Horrocks Beach from much of the swell, creating calm, shallow water thatโs ideal for children to paddle, swim and snorkel. In the warmer months a pontoon is anchored in the bay Read moreโฆ

If youโre looking for somewhere near the beach for coffee and a play date, Coogee Beach Playground, with its ship themed play structure, could be just the place for you.
