The Buggbuddys guide to parks with toilets in Perth! The ultimate guide to the best playgrounds and parks with toilet facilities in Perth! Kids love burning off energy at parks and playgrounds, and Perth’s got some of the best in the world. Best of all, playgrounds are FREE!
What’s great about parks with toilets?
Playgrounds and parks with toilets are a blessing when you’re toilet training! Many community parks are foregoing these facilities. However, if you’re in the middle of toilet-training or have a child with a tiny bladder, this may mean you only stay for an hour or so. Why not plan a longer play date? Find a park or playground with public toilets and make a morning or even a day or it!
In addition, we’ve added details of where playgrounds are close to local coffee shops, cafes and restaurants. Therefore you can grab a bite to eat before or after your play, or grab a takeaway coffee on the way. Don’t forget your reusable coffee mug!

Eden Beach Foreshore Playground is a brand new awesome playground located on the foreshore in Jindalee. The playground is lovely and colourful and jam-packed full of quirky play structures. The main feature of the playground is a huge slide that will delight the bigger kids! The only way to get to the top is to climb! Being a metal tube I dread to think how hot that slide is going to get during the warmer months! There are multi-level play cubes with a fireman’s pole. And various interesting climbing nets. There is a toddler play area with swings, slide and a Read more…

Close to the Peninsula Estate area of Maylands, a new playground has been built at De Lacey Reserve. This playground has something for younger and older kids alike. The first thing Miss 4 spotted was the flying fox. This has a small tower to launch from and sand beneath should someone slip off mid-ride. Miss 4 loved it! It was her favourite part of the playground. We found smaller kids will need help bringing it to the tower as it’s hard work without a bit of muscle. So parents, don’t be surprised if you get roped in for that job! Read more…

Set in the heart of beautiful Roleystone, Borrello Park has something for everyone! Only 15 minutes from Armadale and yet it feels like you’ve travelled hours down south! While we were all locked out of playgrounds due to COVID-19, Floreat Beach Playspace had a total makeover! The focal point of the playground is the ‘Kraken’, a cephalopod-like sea monster which I think looks a little like a blue-ringed octopus! The wooden climbing structure features climbing obstacles and slide. You can also hide in the belly of the beast. A tentacle to the side features different ropes and rings which are perfect for little monkeys. Another tentacle houses a small net swing. The highlight for my 3 year old was captaining the wooden boat – he loved pretending he Read more…
