On a recent road trip, we took a detour through Northam, the detour was originally to check out the Northam Suspension Bridge, which is one of the longest pedestrian bridges in Australia. Ashdale Park is a lovely playground situated in Darch. The playground is located at the rear of Ashdale Primary, adjacent to a small pocket of bushland. The playground here is partially shaded with shade sails. It is set well back from the road, down a pathway, so should be safe for little ones to play. Just off of Beach Road in Girrawheen, we discovered Tendring Park, a neat little park with a life sized snakes and ladders game. The main play structure in the playground features a twisty slide, a climbing wall, a rope climbing web, a fireman pole, some balancing platforms, monkey bars, and a little steering wheel at the top for imagination play.
