Love a chocolate frog or hot choccie? Chocolate Drops Tearooms is a traditional style cafe that serves up simple meals and snacks, plus yummy handmade chocolates in the heart of Yanchep National Park. There’s plenty of seating inside, and a few picnic tables outside, or why not throw down a rug on the lush lawns.
On the menu, expect to find sandwiches, toasties, soup, quiches, nachos and hot potatoes. I was exploring the parks trails, so grabbed a couple of drinks to go. There’s a kiosk window too, for handy take away orders and ice creams.
There’s a children’s menu with sandwiches and cheese and ham toasties. Be sure to indulge in a handmade chocolate frog, which come in a variety of flavours.
I had a wander with the takeaway flat white coffee along the Koala Boardwalk.
We were lucky to watch a cute koala munching on some gum leaves, in good view.
If you wish to visit Chocolate Drops Tearooms the only drawback is that you will need to pay the entry fee to Yanchep National Park – but that is well worth it! There’s plenty to explore, including the caves, trails and TreeTops Adventures ropes course.
