Similar to nature play, water play allows children to get back in touch with natural elements. It provides important learning opportunities to all ages. Likewise, playing in water offers a chance to get grubby. In other words, water playgrounds provide a sensory delight in splashing around on a splash pad or an opportunity let kids get hands-on building and creating in mud kitchens or sand with their friends.

It’s right on the river, and around the enclosed playground is plenty of grass to kick a ball on, BBQs and gazebos and, of course, the beautiful river. My 10-year-old was impressed with the park, especially the X-park obstacle course.
