Moore & Moore, Fremantle

Moore & Moore Café is in a fab location, just a stone’s throw from Esplanade Park, and the Cappuccino strip. The rustic warehouse is very Freo and the food is excellent. For the kiddies there’s not one but two areas in the back courtyard where they can play. There’s an Astroturfed kid’s corner for toddlers that’s full of toys. A shady nature play area with sandpit, balancing logs, trucks and boat, as well as some brilliant climbing ladders and ropes is great for older kids. See more in the Buggybuddys review.

While the Belmont venue is next to the library and a short stroll from the volcano Playground.  See more in the Buggybuddys review.

Tree of Life, Mandurah

The Tree of Life Cafe is a lovely little spot for brunch and has to have one of the Best Breakfasts in the Mandurah area. Embers, Gooseberry Hill

Embers in Gooseberry Hill has been a Perth Hills stalwart for well over a decade. The cosy restaurant is particularly well known for its delicious gourmet wood-fired pizzas. But they also serve up a brilliant brunch. We sat in the closed-in (dog friendly) veranda area, with rustic stone tables. For kids, there’s a menu (the pancakes ae yummy!) and coloring packs too.
