As you enter the exhibition you are given a map of Wonderland. The map itself is interactive and themed on characters from the story – think Queen of Hearts, Cheshire Cat, and Mad Hatter.

You actually enter the exhibition through a small door, to make you feel really tall, or a tall door, to make you feel really small!

Things get curiouser and curiouser as you get lost in the Hallway of Doors, squeeze into a tiny house and climb up the giant chair.

I took along my 9yr old daughter and we both thought it was really good fun. As a parent, I like the immersive and interactive aspects of the exhibition as they help keep children’s interest. My daughter also enjoyed the immersive experience of the tea party and the changing projections. The Queens Croquet grounds was also fun.

The Wonderland exhibition is on at the WA Museum Boola Bardip until 23rd April 2023. Tickets can be booked in advance or purchased on arrival
