The popular Mandurah spot with cafes, markets and parkland has a lot to do whether you’re into swimming, shopping or eating. Check out our ultimate guide to this Hillarys Boat Harbor-style destination, hidden in Mandurah.

Lido Beach

Lido Beach is a fantastic spot to spend a sunny day! Itโ€™s also known as โ€œThe Children’s beachโ€, found alongside Keith Holmes Reserve at Dolphin Quay.  Thereโ€™s a few shade structures around the sand and surrounding lawns. A plastic pathway through the sand makes the area more accessible too.

Kids will love to jump from the wall, at the deeper end.

Bring along a ball for a game of beach volleyball.

Shopping at Dolphin Quay

If you love to shop, the Dolphin Quay Markets on the Mandurah Marina is the perfect spot to pick up something unique.

Thereโ€™s lots of goodies to discover – treat yourself or find a gift for somebody! Let the kids take their pocket money, as theyโ€™re sure to find something they like too!

Around the quay you’ll find a few boutiques too, like this sweet Christmas shop.

Dining at Dolphin Quay

Thereโ€™s a good selection of cafรฉs and restaurants at Dolphin Quay that cater for families โ€“ Japanese, Italian, African and more. You might even be lucky enough to see a dolphin swim by as you eat your lunch!

Cafรฉ Moka is a fantastic place for a family brunch on the water. From epic pancakes, great brunch dishes and scrumptious cakes.

I can confirm their coffee is top notch too.

Sharkys is THE spot for fish and chips by the water!

As well as serving up a super fresh seafood catch, the casual restaurant has a big indoor playground for the kids to play. It is also fenced and gated.

Playground

Take a walk across the pedestrian bridge to Keith Holmes Reserve which features a shaded playground with quirky and unusual play equipment for young and older kids.

Thereโ€™s also a big โ€œpirate shipโ€ which is very popular and has a ramp for easy pram access too. Kids will love a bit of imaginative play and be the captain of this ship!

Here there are numerous shaded picnic tables and BBQs – perfect for a family or group gathering.
