    Perth’s newest beachside playground, Capricorn Beach Foreshore Adventure Playground, is now open. The FUNtastic ocean-themed playground is perfect for kids of all ages and is located just minutes away from the Yanchep Lagoon. Arriving at the playground, my kids ran straight to the big tunnel slides, they had a ball racing each other down the slides and trying to work out which slide was the fastest.  Beside the slides is a tricky cargo rope obstacle kids can tackle to get back up, there are also stairs.  A super fun rope roundabout is in the sand at the end of the Read more…

    This shipwreck-themed playground which opened in March 2018 is one of twenty parks planned within the in the thriving Yanchep Golf Estate! Perfect for toddlers and kids under 10, it certainly ticks a lot of boxes, and this is only stage one of the two-hectare park. As we arrived the first thing that caught my 8 year olds eye was the flying fox.     We love this little park. Situated in the new Vertex Estate in Yanchep lies a small but great park for young ones. There is a large wooden climbing frame featuring different options to get to the top including a rock wall, wooden steps, ropes and more. There is a fireman’s pole at the top and the kids had a ball climbing the structure. It is a sand based park so Mr 3 loved sitting in the shade under the structure digging.     Located 45 minutes north of Perth, Yanchep National Park offers diverse natural and cultural experiences. Home to Western grey kangaroos, koalas, and abundant birdlife.     Mariala Vista Park is located in Jindowie, Yanchep. So many of the new parks that have been built recently have a problem with serious lack of shade, where the developer has planted trees but they won’t provide any shade until they mature in years to come.     Stage 1 of the 3.6 ha Campground Adventure Park recently opened in December 2015. It is located on the corner of Summerhome Parade and Campground Road in the Beachside precinct of Capricorn Yanchep, in the far northern suburbs of Perth. The new playground has been designed so that it reflects the past heritage of the former camping ground – the Club Capricorn Resort – on which it is built.
