Mandurah Christmas Lights Trail

Friday, 1 January to Tuesday, 5 January, 6pm to 10pm
Mandurah Foreshore, Mandurah Terrace, Mandurah

Share the excitement as Mandurah transforms into a lights spectacular and wonderland on water this Christmas. Take a boat cruise to admire the Christmas spirit beaming from houses in the Mandurah canals or light hunt your way around the Christmas Lights Trail.
Head to the city centre and find your way around the festive light installations across the Eastern Foreshore, through Mandjar Square, into Mandurah Marina. This year the decorations are bigger and better – with the emphasis on bigger!
Santa will be sparkling on the foreshore and at 4.4m tall, you can’t miss him. He’ll be joined on the lights trail by a massive reindeer, bright Kombi van and 10.5m tall tree, as well as a beautifully lit ship.
If you’re after pics for your socials, check out the bauble, selfie star and be creative – there are so many cool shots you can take. Once you know the light is right, get snapping.
Wish upon a (selfie) star at the Marina and work your way past the ship and towards the colourful Kombi near the cinema.
Stop for a drink or ice cream or keep going until you find the selfie wreath. We can also recommend the bauble on the Eastern Foreshore.
Don’t forget to share #mandurahmoments
There are kids’ activities and more Christmas festivities right throughout December.

Ngaalang Moort // Our Family

Friday, 22 January, 5pm to 8pm
Fremantle Arts Centre, 1 Finnerty Street, Fremantle

Join CAN at Fremantle Arts Centre for a night of lullaby performance and storytelling as we launch Ngaalang Moort – a stunning compilation of lullabies created by Noongar families.
When the world was turned on its head and we couldn’t all meet together, CAN took the Lullabies program online and directly into people’s homes. These 15 songs are a celebration of moort (family), koort (heart), woonya (love) and a legacy for all.
Bring a rug and picnic (no BYO alcohol) to this family friendly event, or enjoy tasty treats from the vendors on-site.
Held on the Front Lawn at Fremantle Arts Centre.
This launch is proudly presented in partnership with the Fremantle Arts Centre. Lullabies is produced by CAN in collaboration with Noongar families and is supported through the Australian Government’s Indigenous Languages and Arts program and the Australia Council for the Arts.
