For our party, presenter Liz arrived around 30 minutes early to set up her station. Einsteins Australia supplied the tables and all the equipment needed for the experiments, so there was very little for us to organise. The party officially began 15 minutes after the invite time, which is a thoughtful touch as it means latecomers do not miss out on the beginning of the fun.
We chose the E=MC2 party package for a 12-year-old birthday celebration, and it was a huge hit. This package is designed for older children and includes experiments such as elasto slime, endothermic reactions, pH reactions, Alka Seltzer rockets, and Styrofoam and acetone reactions. The activities were age-appropriate, exciting and packed with “wow” moments that kept the children engaged throughout the full hour.
The slime-making was a definite highlight. The children made elasto slime, tested how far they could stretch it and had plenty of laughs along the way.
The Alka Seltzer rockets were another favourite, bringing that classic mix of anticipation, excitement and surprise. Liz was fantastic at explaining what was happening in a way the kids could understand, while still keeping the atmosphere fun and fast-paced.
One of the loveliest parts of the party was the way Liz made the birthday child feel like the star of the show. She kept everyone included and involved, but also made sure the birthday girl had special moments throughout the session. Even practical things like washing hands and cleaning up were turned into part of the fun, which parents will definitely appreciate.
If you want to take the party atmosphere up a notch, Einsteins Australia also offers optional extras. Lab coats, children’s safety glasses and themed backdrops can be added to the party experience, creating a real “little scientist” feel. The children can wear the lab coats and safety glasses during the session, and they make for fantastic photos with friends.
