There’s no star too far, and no dream too grand. So shake the fairy dust and make a wish. The magic’s in your hands ✨
If you have fantasy-loving children, you HAVE to check out the Magic Barn Fairy Garden in Waroona! Located at 124 South Western Hwy in Waroona… Keep your eyes peeled for the hot pink building. They are open Thursday – Sunday & public holidays 8:30-5:00.
This hidden gem is completely FREE to visit!! Out in the fully enclosed garden (yep…fully enclosed!!), there is so much to see and do, you can easily spend a couple of hours here. It’s worth the one-hour drive from Perth on its own but also makes for a fantastic pit stop if you’re travelling further south.
There are cubby houses, a special pirate’s corner, a playground with swings and a slide, bikes, see-saws, bridges and more!
Most special of all are the faeries, fairy doors and magical things to find in the garden.
The wonderful owners set up free fairy door painting, treasure hunts and they have the cutest guinea pigs in their very own magical corner you can visit. If you’re lucky, you might even get to help feed them 😊
Inside the building, there is a wonderful cafe with some great daily specials and yummy food, and there’s a bathroom inside available. Take a seat at one of the tables inside and then wander around the gift shop full of magical ornaments, jewellery, incense, gift ideas and more!
Don’t forget to find the faerie hiding inside! She is set against a beautiful backdrop with toadstools to get a photo on.
There’s a book reading corner nearby, too where the owner lets you choose a book to take home for free on your way out! We also spotted a party room set up which looked gorgeous!
Don’t sleep on this gem of a place! The kiddies and yourselves will love it.
