Visiting Albany and looking for a low-key child-friendly place to eat and drink? Then make sure you go hungry to one of the oldest taverns in Western Australia!

And when I say go hungry, I really mean it, the food is delicious and the portion sizes are huge! That big, that if you’re not feeling too ravenous, then you can easily share meals.

This bar and restaurant has a real old English pub feel to it, with warm fireplaces, beautiful original inspired décor which has such a welcoming feel to this venue.

And relaxed and comfortable you really did feel throughout the whole experience, with beautiful staff working there making you and most importantly your children feel very included and welcomed, which can be hard to come by.

The food was next level quality pub grub, with a great option of food and drink choice both for adults and the children.

And if this venue couldn’t get any better then sit and enjoy your food and drink in an enclosed beer garden with a safe children’s play park in eyes view.

The play park was small but had more than enough room to keep your little ones active and entertained- With a cubby house, climbing wall, fireman’s pole and climbing tower surrounded by nature play.
