Croc’s recently opened its fourth playcentre in WA! Located near Bunnings in Joondalup, this brand new playcentre has the same great feel as other Croc’s playcentres and just like Bunbury, Cannington & Janakot the centre includes a Muffin Break Cafe, so you know you’ll get to enjoy a great coffee while the kids play!
There is a small baby area for children up to 18 months, this space is very basic and includes a foam rocker, foam blocks and wall-mounted maze game.
The toddler space is or children under 4 years and a lot more exciting! The full fenced space includes a small bouncy castle and multilevel pirate ship climbing structure with a spiral slide.
A larger bouncy castle with slide is located in the main play space.
The main multi-story climbing structure is fantastic! Consisting of 3 levels with a range of obstacles on every level. The entire playground is padded for safety and little bikes for kids to peddle around.
The highlight for the kid was definitely the 4 lane speed slide and the 2 lane drop slide which isn’t for the faith hearted!
Miss 9 was delighted to discover the hidden rock climbing wall and trampoline.
The ball blaster zone was also a big hit, there is a ball fountain, dumping basket, cannon and guns on the levels above.
For $2 kids can use the electric kart track. Children under 6 need to be accompanied by an adult, although I jumped on with my 3 year old and he was able to control the kart independently. Each turn lasts only a few minutes, if you don’t have coins the cafe is happy to allow cash out or change notes.
The centre includes 4 themed party rooms, disco, pirate, princess and jungle – these rooms were still under construction when we visited. There is also an option to host a baking party where kids will make their own pizza and decorate cookies. Private venue hire is also available.
Remember socks at all times, I recommend grip socks if you have them as they polished concrete floors are pretty slippery. No outside food or drinks allowed, with the exception of baby food and children’s drink bottles – the Muffin Break cafe offers a great range of food and drink products at reasonable prices.
