Croc’s Playcentre Joondalup has reopened following a major refurbishment, bringing a fresh new look and a huge range of indoor activities for babies, toddlers and bigger kids. It is an easy all-weather outing for families in Perth’s northern suburbs, with plenty to keep little ones busy while parents can settle in with a coffee from the onsite Muffin Break café.
The centrepiece is an enormous four-level indoor play structure, with dedicated spaces designed for different ages and confidence levels. Bigger children can climb, crawl and explore their way through tunnels, balancing obstacles, stepping stones, netted bridges and interactive LED games before choosing from a seriously fun selection of slides.
There is a drop slide for thrill seekers, an LED wave slide, four LED racer slides for friendly competitions, and tunnel slides woven through the play frame.
There are plenty of other ways for energetic kids to burn off steam too. The revamped playcentre includes a mini flying fox, mirror maze, soft-play axe throwing, pedal trikes and a go-kart track.
The interactive ball zone is sure to be a hit, with air blasters, shooters and vacuum tubes creating lots of noisy, high-energy fun.
Younger children have not been forgotten. The separate toddler zone gives little explorers a more suitable space to play, including mini slides and age-appropriate equipment away from the larger play structure.
Babies under 18 months have their own dedicated area with soft play, a mini slide and interactive animal-sound buttons, making it a comfortable spot for crawling and early walkers to explore.
Croc’s Playcentre Joondalup is also well set up for celebrations. There are four themed party rooms available for birthday parties, providing a simple option for an all-weather celebration.
For something a little different, children can take part in bookable baking sessions in Mr Croc’s Baking Room, adding a hands-on activity beyond the usual climbing and sliding.
Parents will appreciate the practical touches, including plenty of tables and chairs throughout the venue, toilets and onsite parking. Muffin Break is located inside the playcentre, offering coffee, snacks and meals while the kids play. As with most indoor play centres, socks are required in the play areas, and children should be supervised by their parent or carer.
Entry includes unlimited playtime, while adults and babies under one enter free. Families who visit regularly can join Mr Croc’s Club for rewards, including every tenth visit free, and 10-entry passes are also available. Mother’s Group pricing is offered on school days with bookings required, while exclusive evening venue hire is available for private events.
With a dedicated baby space, toddler-friendly play, action-packed attractions for older kids and an onsite café, Croc’s Playcentre Joondalup is a great choice for a rainy-day outing, a school holiday activity or simply somewhere to let the kids burn off some energy.
