Get on your high horse and head straight to this gorgeous cafe!
Located in Claremont, right on the corner of Stirling Highway and Airlie Street beneath a modern apartment complex, High Horse has something for everyone.
One of its features is free underground parking, a rare convenience in the area. The cafe serves ready-made food, which was perfect because I had two hungry little ones and the wait time was minimal. The coffee is excellent, and if you are in the mood for a bit of retail therapy there’s a beautiful gift shop tucked away in the back of the cafe.
But the real highlight for families is the play room, arguably the best cafe playroom we’ve visited in Perth to date. It’s located just a short walk away within the same complex, and staff will give you a key for access.
Inside, you’ll find cozy alcoves with daybed style lounges, and shelves stocked with a variety of toys including educational sets, role play items, and miniatures.
My kids and I enjoyed playing corn hole, drawing, reading, kitchen play, dolls, dinosaurs and more. For those wanting to relax, there are comfy bean bags and a TV to unwind with.
Just outside the play room is a delightful outdoor play space featuring water play, balancing logs and a pretty vine cubby.
High Horse truly has everything you need for a fabulous time with your children- good food, great coffee and plenty of play.
