Edgecombe Bros Review
Edgecombe Bros located in the Swan Valley is a rustic winery offering a stunning view of the vineyards.
We went along for the Sunday morning breakfast buffet. The buffet features a selection of eggs, bacon, toast, mushrooms, baked beans, asparagus, tomatoes and sausages. There is also a choice of cakes and scones with a range of hot and cold drinks and of course milkshakes and baby chinos for the kids. During the week the menu for breakfast is simple yet yummy with bacon and eggs, good old eggs Benedict and everyone’s favourite avo smash.
Friday night burger night is a must-go. You can choose from their range of tasty burgers and sides to satisfy your cravings, and there are other kids meals available. Their current lunch menu features small meals, burgers, other meals and kids meals. There’s also a tasting plate on the menu for those looking to try something new. All dishes are very reasonably priced and come with good portions.
There is inside and outside dining, I highly recommend sitting outside and taking in the stunning views. Inside, you will find a fireplace that made you feel cosy as if you were at home. There is also plenty of parking out front and toilets around the side of the venue. High chairs are also available.
We had a lovely experience at Edgecombe Bros. The staff are so friendly and welcoming, that’s one of the things that makes it such a great place to visit! There were 5 of us plus 4 kids and we had no booking for a table, so we were able to grab a spot outside. Luckily, when it started raining they re-arranged the furniture inside and moved us all indoors to make sure we were comfortable. Fantastic service!
Keeping kids entertained is no easy feat when visiting a restaurant. But now at Edgecombe Bros. there’s a new play area just for them! The gated play area features slides and a climbing frame and has plenty of shade and also grassy areas to run around. There are alfresco seats overlooking the area so you can enjoy your wine while keeping an eye on your little ones.
Edgecombe Bros host family and dog-friendly events throughout the year and there is live music every Friday evening and Sunday lunch.
If you’re interested in learning more about the area’s history, then you can join them for morning tea and a scenic walk on their historic walking tour. Their historical walking tour is followed by lunch, a tutored wine tasting and a vine-pruning demonstration at Edgecombe Bros winery.
Edgecombe Bros wines are produced from their Swan Valley vineyards that surround the winery. They have a wide range to suit all palettes, including their highly sought-after fortified wines. Visit the cellar door for a tasting. The venue offers rustic charm and a secluded spot to celebrate special occasions with loved ones. They tailor to the event or offer packages for events such as weddings.
