Cherith Grove Cafe Gidegannup

Cherith Grove Cafe Gidgegannup is a great spot to visit when you find yourself in the area. This hidden Perth Hills gem is spread across 8 hectares of land, which mainly is used as a working olive grove. The spot has a lovely country like, Mediterranean-feel and is found just 2kms drive from Noble Falls.

The cafe offers both indoor seating and an alfresco setting on the veranda, providing a picture-perfect view of their lemon trees and an old olive oil press.

For the kiddos, there’s a book and toy corner, high chairs and a small kids menu.

One of the highlights of Cherith Grove is their renowned organic olive oil. Due to a devastating bushfire a few years ago, there hasn’t been a pressing in a while. However, with olives currently ripening on the trees, there’s hope that this year the organic EVOO will make a comeback! On the café menu, you can expect breakfast favorites and gourmet woodfired pizzas.

The service at Cherith Grove Cafe is friendly, and the coffee is good. If you have a sweet tooth, the cabinet is filled with delectable house-baked treats, with many gluten-free options available. Or why not enjoy a quiche and salad?

We couldn’t resist indulging in a couple of slices for our morning tea. The raspberry brownie was perfectly fudgy and moist, while the caramel slice topped with macadamias was delish! The best part? Both were gluten-free, ensuring everyone can enjoy these scrumptious delights.

Don’t forget to explore the cellar door, where you’ll find a selection of local produce and crafts available for purchase. And for all the bookworms, Cherith Grove also has a free book library where you can leave a book and take a new one to enjoy at home.

After satisfying our taste buds, we took a stroll around the gorgeous grounds. You can meander through the olive trees, and discover the peaceful dam, home to ducks and geese. Of course, if you’re outdoors, keep your eye on little ones, as this dam is not fenced.

Kids may even spy the retired olive crusher. It was a great talking point and reminder of how things were done pre-electricity!

Be sure to say g’day to the adorable donkeys, who like a gentle scratch on the head.

While you’re in the area, be sure to make a side trip to the breathtaking Noble Falls, which is spectacular in winter and offers up easy bush trails too.

This beautiful property, combined with its delicious, honest food, offers a tranquil escape in the heart of the Perth Hills. Cherith Grove is well worth a visit. Treat yourself to a day filled with warm hospitality, yummy treats, and cherished memories.
