Buggbuddys guide to fence playgrounds Perth! The ultimate guide to the best fenced playgrounds and parks in Perth! Kids love burning off energy at parks and playgrounds, and Perth’s got some of the best in the world. We’ve seen many new parks open up recently with some impressive play equipment, features and facilities. Best of all, they’re all FREE!
What’s to love about fenced playgrounds Perth?
Many toddler playgrounds are fenced. But fenced playgrounds aren’t just for littler ones. Fenced playgrounds are great for keeping little runners of all ages away from busy roads. They also keep children and strange dogs apart, just in case. These playgrounds offer a safe play environment, often with sand or rubber soft fall to save little knees.
We’ve added details of where playgrounds are close to local coffee shops, cafes and restaurants. Therefore you can grab a bite to eat before or after your play, or grab a takeaway coffee. Don’t forget your reusable coffee mug! 😉 Make a day of it, make some amazing memories with your little ones.

If you’re a parent to a toddler, a fenced and gated playground is a must! Allen Park in Swanbourne is a brilliant spot for wandering toddlers to play. We recently visited the redeveloped Mundaring Community Sculpture Park. It is located on Jacoby Street across the road from The Mundaring Hotel (not to be confused with the Mundaring Weir Hotel) There is more than enough parking along the road as it seemed everyone was there to take advantage of the good weather after the rain. As a mum of a busy 2-year-old toddler, I couldn’t be more thrilled with Joondalup Square playground, located opposite the gigantic Bunnings Warehouse.
