Monet in Paris Perth
Monet in Paris at Le Grand Palais welcomes you on a spellbinding journey through the vibrant world of French Impressionism. Daring, intriguing and uplifting, like the works of the Impressionists themselves, Monet in Paris invites you to leave the world behind as you step inside this fascinating period of modern art. Accompany some of the world’s most fearless artists of their time on an exhilarating adventure across 19th century bohemian Paris and the lush countryside of France. Young and old will be plunged into Monet’s water lilies and dance with Degas’ ballerinas in this stunning explosion of life, light and colour. Breathtaking paintings are projected on an enormous scale, illuminating the bold brushstrokes of Claude Monet, Camille Pissarro, Pierre-Auguste Renoir, Paul Cézanne, Edgar Degas and many more. In a rich, dynamic display of light, colour, sound and fragrance, the masterpieces of the Impressionists come to life. LE GRAND PALAIS Housed in Le Grand Palais, Monet in Paris is a spectacular 360-degree immersion into Monet’s world. Step back in time into the dazzling world of 19th century Paris where the lights shine bright, and an unprecedented period of artistic and cultural flourishing is in full swing. From the vibrant cabarets to the glittering salons and bustling street life, European artists sought to capture the spirit of the era creating bold, innovative and often scandalous masterpieces. Stroll through the central Artist’s Square of Montmartre, where Monet once lived, and savor the distinctly Parisian delights of Le Bistro. Explore the immersive spaces that take you from absinthe nights to dreamy wildflower field days, to dappled ponds and delicate water lilies, and finally to Monet’s Studio in Giverny.
