Kaleidoscope @ the Quay
This summer, Elizabeth Quay transforms into a vibrant playground of light, music and movement. Kaleidoscope is a free, all-ages event that brings Perthโs waterfront to life with immersive art, live entertainment and family fun.
At its heart is Accordion โ an interactive art installation never before seen in WA. Six towering archways burst with colour and sound, inviting you to wander through a living artwork that pulses with light and melody. From live performances and roaming entertainment, to waterfront dining and kidsโ activities, Kaleidoscope is where summer shines brightest. Come together where the city meets the water and experience Perth like never before. Event highlights Accordion Experience Accordion – a spectacular light installation never before seen in WA. Six illuminated arches come alive with colour, music and movement, creating an interactive journey through a symphony of light and sound. Making its WA debut, Accordion invites visitors to wander through a series of luminous archways and play with interactive stepping pads that you can hop, skip or leap across – triggering a ripple of light, colour and sound. This multiโsensory experience will transform the Quay into a kaleidoscope of movement and imagination for two magical weeks, starting 7 February with a vibrant opening night event: Kaleidoscope. Best experienced under the night sky, Accordion still captivates with its graceful form and colour during the day.

Curated by Richmindโs Principal Artist in Residence and โCreative Therapies Coordinator David Giles ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ The HeART & Soul art project began as a simple distraction activity created to support people through the Christmas period, a sometimes difficult and isolating time of year. The obvious benefits of meeting in a safe friendly supportive positive and encouraging space to create art, led to the program becoming ongoing and a new focus of Richmindโs recovery approach and brand. This exhibition celebrates the numerous and profound benefits art can have on our mental health and the amazing diversity of ways people can express themselves creatively to support their wellbeing. LEGO Club at Cambridge Library
Lego Club sessions are held every second Monday during school term at 4pm. No bookings are required and you’re welcome to attend any session. However, due to space and Lego resource requirements, attendance numbers are limited to the first 20 children who arrive for each session.
