Exciting news for mango lovers! Perth Mango Farm will open it’s gates for 2026 pick-your-own Mangos on Friday 6th March. Located at 4 Dayrell Road (entry via Wattle Ave West) in Nowergup, this pesticide and insecticide-free farm offers families the chance to pick and enjoy fresh, juicy mangoes straight from the tree.

What You Need to Know
The farm has set its pricing to reflect the current season’s conditions: entry is $10 for those 10 years and over, $5 for children under 10, while babies and toddlers under 2 years can enter free. The mangoes themselves are priced at $15.00/kg when picked from the orchard. Varieties available for picking are Bowen and Kensington mangos.
They will be open Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays 9am -6pm. Open days may change throughout the period if they sell out of ripe fruit, so make sure you visit their Facebook page for the most up-to-date information before visiting.

The Picking Experience
Upon arrival, you’ll be equipped with disposable gloves to protect your skin from mango sap, and picking sticks are provided to help reach those higher branches. One of the best parts of the experience is being able to sample mangoes while you pick – nothing beats the taste of a fresh mango straight from the tree!

If you prefer not to pick your own, pre-picked mangoes are usually available in the shed, though it’s best to arrive early as shed sales often sell out quickly.

Important Guidelines
The farm has some essential rules to ensure everyone’s enjoyment and the sustainability of their crop. Visitors are not permitted to bring knives, bags/backpacks (except small handbags), chairs, trolleys, or picnics into the orchard. However, convenient storage for shopping bags is provided in the shed, and picnic facilities are available at tables outside the orchard area.

Practical Information
Payment can be made via EFTPOS or cash, though cash is preferred for entry fees to help speed up operations. Remember to bring your own bags. The farm provides parking facilities and toilets, but please note that strollers are not permitted in the orchard.

Planning Your Visit
After the opening weekend, the farm will operate Wednesday to Sunday from 9am to 6pm (dependant on fruit availability). Given this year’s limited mango availability, it’s crucial to supervise children carefully and only pick what you plan to eat or take home. Leaving picked mangoes on the ground is not permitted, as the farm aims to minimise waste and ensure fair access for all visitors.
For the most up-to-date information on fruit availability and conditions, it’s important to check their Facebook page before visiting. This unique Perth experience combines outdoor family fun with the reward of delicious, fresh mangoes – making it a perfect weekend activity for families looking to create sweet memories together.
