Bricktober Perth is back for 2026, and it’s shaping up to be the biggest one yet. As a Perth mum who’s always on the hunt for a great school holiday outing, I love that this LEGO® extravaganza has become a firm fixture on our family calendar. Now celebrating its 13th year, Bricktober showcases the incredible creativity of WA’s LEGO® community, with hundreds of models built by local enthusiasts filling Curtin Stadium in Bentley for a weekend of pure brick-fuelled fun.
This year Bricktober is taking things up a notch, running across two full days on Saturday 10 and Sunday 11 October 2026. Doors open from 10am until 4pm both days, and if your little ones (or you) find big, buzzing crowds a bit much, there are low sensory sessions available from 8:30am to 9:30am each morning for a calmer, quieter start.
As you walk in, make sure you grab a wristband for each of your children. The organisers write your phone number on it so if anyone gets separated in the crowd, they can be reunited with you quickly. It’s a small touch that gives parents real peace of mind in what can be a very busy venue.
The displays themselves are the heart of Bricktober, and they never fail to impress. Expect sprawling LEGO® cityscapes, detailed train layouts, epic Star Wars scenes and beloved Disney characters, all built brick by brick by passionate local hobbyists.
The mosaic displays are always a highlight for us, and my kids love spotting their favourite characters roaming the crowd, including Bricktober’s very own mascot.
Beyond the displays, the interactive zone is where kids really get to let loose. There’s a brickpit stacked with tens of thousands of LEGO® bricks to dig through and build with, a Racer Ramp where kids can build their own LEGO® car and race it against friends, and the chance to take the wheel of an actual LEGO® vehicle, which is always a crowd favourite.
If your child is keen to test their building skills, keep an eye out for the building competitions on the day. Spots are limited and there’s an additional fee, so it pays to sign up early once you arrive.
There’s plenty to keep the whole family entertained beyond building too. Grab a raffle ticket for a chance to win LEGO® sets, enter the colouring-in competition, or browse the exclusive Bricktober 2026 merchandise and LEGO® products available for purchase. When hunger strikes, there are food and drink options from local community partners on site, along with an ATM if you need cash.
Tickets are sold as individual passes for $17, or a family pass for $50, which is great value for a full day of entertainment. Sessions do tend to sell out, so it’s worth booking ahead rather than leaving it to the day.
What I love most about Bricktober is what it stands for. It’s run by the Rotary Club of Ascot, and every ticket sold helps fund local and international community projects, from clean water initiatives to youth leadership programs. So while the kids are having the time of their lives building and playing, you’re also supporting some genuinely worthwhile causes.
