TXOKO is a small family-owned brewery found in an old rustic barn just outside Baskerville. With the most beautiful backdrop of vineyards, relax and enjoy their constantly rotating range of fresh beer and wood-fired pizzas or dine in the fully licensed restaurant.
There is a large outdoor playground next to the tables. It has sand-based ground, and consist of slides, swings, monkey bars and many more things for kids to play with. There’s plenty of space for them to run around too! The entire area also includes paved as well as grassy areas which serve as an ideal place for alfresco dining overlooking the 12 acres of picturesque vines.
It is easy to take the kids here because there is a dedicated children’s menu and highchair facilities. The food was delicious and reasonable priced, with a range of drinks for adults. There are sheltered indoor dining areas as well as outdoor ones near the playground – they’re all under beautiful trees that provide plenty of shade!
The service was great, everyone working there was so accommodating, and the service was very prompt. This hidden gem is definitely worth visiting with the kids or to enjoy a glass of wine overlooking the vineyards. Family-focused and with something for everyone, sunny afternoons are perfect at Txoko.
