Happy Tone Children’s Wonderland in Bibra Lake is an indoor play space that has been designed with the whole family in mind. It is bright, spacious and welcoming, with plenty to keep little ones entertained while parents can sit back, relax and enjoy a bite to eat.

From the moment we walked in, it was clear this wasn’t your average play centre. The space feels lovely and open, which makes a huge difference when visiting with young children. There is room for kids to explore freely without everything feeling too busy or overwhelming, and parents can still keep an eye on the action from the seating areas.

Harvey had an absolute ball exploring Happy Tone. There is so much for children to do, and the visit feels more like a full family experience than a quick play centre stop. Happy Tone offers themed sessions throughout the week, with weekday early learning sessions from Monday to Thursday that include story time, guided play, music, movement, craft and social play.

On weekends, the venue offers a full day of children’s activities, followed by dinner and live entertainment, making it a fun option for families wanting something a little different.
During our visit, Harvey loved joining in with the activities, which included dinosaur hunting, story time, face painting, dress-ups, singing and dancing, and cookie making. These little extras were such a nice touch and really helped keep the kids engaged. It was great to see activities that encouraged imaginative play, creativity and movement, rather than just running around.

The staff were fantastic too. Everyone we met was warm, friendly and wonderful with the children. They helped create a relaxed atmosphere and made the activities feel fun and inclusive. It’s always a bonus when staff seem genuinely happy to interact with the kids, and it made the whole visit feel easy and enjoyable.

One of the biggest surprises was the café. Play centre food can be a bit hit and miss, but the food at Happy Tone was genuinely delicious. Everything we ordered was fresh, beautifully presented and felt much more like a café or restaurant meal than the usual indoor play centre offering. It is definitely somewhere parents will be happy to eat, and the venue’s focus on play, meals and family time really comes through.

There are lots of thoughtful family-friendly touches throughout the venue. Parking was easy, which is always a win when visiting with kids. The family change room is spacious and includes three change tables, plus there is a comfortable chair and privacy curtain for breastfeeding. We also loved the handy storage ledges underneath the tables, which are perfect for bags and belongings while the kids play.

Happy Tone also allows BYO with an $8 corkage fee per bottle, which could be handy for families visiting for a longer session or celebrating a special occasion. Birthday parties are also available, with the Happy Tone team offering live performances, interactive games and customised activities to help create a fun and stress-free celebration.
Entry prices at the time of our visit were free for babies under 12 months. Children aged 12 to 24 months were $15 on weekdays and $25 on weekends. Children aged two years and over were $35 on weekdays and $45 on weekends. Extra adults were $10 and included a drink. As sessions, prices and activities may change, it is best to check the official website and book online before heading down.

Happy Tone Children’s Wonderland is the kind of place where you can easily spend hours. Harvey explored every corner, joined in the activities and had the best time. It is a great indoor option for Perth families, especially if you are looking for somewhere that combines play, food, activities and entertainment all in one thoughtfully designed space.
