The Buggbuddys guide to parks with toilets in Perth! The ultimate guide to the best playgrounds and parks with toilet facilities in Perth! Kids love burning off energy at parks and playgrounds, and Perth’s got some of the best in the world. Best of all, playgrounds are FREE!
What’s great about parks with toilets?
Playgrounds and parks with toilets are a blessing when you’re toilet training! Many community parks are foregoing these facilities. However, if you’re in the middle of toilet-training or have a child with a tiny bladder, this may mean you only stay for an hour or so. Why not plan a longer play date? Find a park or playground with public toilets and make a morning or even a day or it!
In addition, we’ve added details of where playgrounds are close to local coffee shops, cafes and restaurants. Therefore you can grab a bite to eat before or after your play, or grab a takeaway coffee on the way. Don’t forget your reusable coffee mug!

Adachi Park just off Great Eastern Hwy in Belmont has recently had an upgrade to the play equipment. You might know the park for the little brick house that is located there and can be seen from the highway. We recently stopped by for a play and a wander along the river walking paths. We found this a great little spot with parking, toilets, bbq facilities and covered picnic tables as well as the playground equipment and walkways. The playground is quite small with cubby house and a climbing structure with two slides, seesaw and a birds nest swing. The Read more…

Neil Hawkins Park in Joondalup is a park more suited to the under 5’s. The playground is partially enclosed and is quite compact and easy to keep track of little ones. It features play equipment in the guise of a train engine and its carriages with each carriage providing a different feature. The train engine houses a small slide which is great for crawlers and early walkers. The next two carriages provide seating areas which my kids love retreating into with their food stash and enjoying a picnic. The final carriage is a tunnel with small windows – great for Read more…

Perry Lakes Rope Playground is located on Perry Lakes Drive, near the corner of Meager Drive. The playground is fully fenced and gated, and I feel it would be more suited to children aged three years and older who have more strength to climb and balance. Perry Lakes Rope playground is made up of many ladders, rubber platforms and balancing ropes. My miss 3 particularly loved the rope suspension bridge. She had several climbs across this one. It was great for building on her balancing skills. She also liked the rubber hammock section attached to a series of rope nets, Read more…

Nature playground, gym equipment, mini skate area, mini basketball court, ping pong table, BBQ area, mini bushwalking track… and… superb bakery and little café across the road. Upon arriving at this beautiful park on a sunny day, we were greeted with different things that we could explore. Besides being able to run around in the vast area, the slide was their favourite. Although it was not big and Read more…
