Pine Park is a hidden gem in Darlington, in the Perth Hills. I grew up in the hills and my parents still live there. On today’s visit we thought we’d try somewhere different to the usual park. Manning Park in Spearwood is the perfect spot to take the kids out for a picnic and play in the park. The reserve is huge with four car parks in total and plenty of wide open grassed areas. Today we tried out the new playground at Richardson Park in South Perth, just near the Perth Zoo. We found it to have a good range of equipment for a range of ages and it backs onto a large expanse of grass for ball games or running around. Was on the way to Claremont Quarter when we stumbled across a fantastic playground just a stone’s throw away from CQ. Rowe Park consists of, a playground, separate sand pit area, lush greenery, benches, basketball court, tennis courts, drinks fountain and plenty of shade.
