If you are looking for gelato with a twist, why don’t you check out Delicioso Gelato in Victoria Park? Think tropical fruits like durian and dragonfruit, as well as popular Asian desserts like strawberry matcha and hokkaido cheese tart. Delicioso Gelato delivers a huge selection of interesting Asian-inspired flavours of gelato for anyone feeling adventurous!
The girls’ eyes lit up, seeing the display full of colourful gelato!
One display has all the classic favourites, from Cookies and Cream to mint to Bubble gum, while the other showcases all the unique Asian-inspired flavours one can think of. It was hard deciding what flavours to get, but thankfully, we were able to sample up to three flavours for free.
There are three serving sizes for their gelato here, and it’s fantastic that they offer a child serving size as well. This is perfect for Missy 6, as she usually has trouble finishing one. The girls get to choose between the waffle cone or cup.
There was another display with gelato churning, which is definitely where the strong scent of durian (you either love it or hate it) was coming from!
The portion size was generous, and their service was quick. Mochi and Pandan waffles were also available in-store, so we tried them as our post-dinner dessert. Both were made fresh upon order and came along with our gelato. The gelato was so flavourful and creamy, and the texture was perfect!
Missy 6 had the Strawberry gelato in the kids’ size.
Missy 9 was game-enough to try out their Durian gelato.
Drinks and frozen yoghurt are available too. And if dinning in is not enough, they offer takeaway tub for their gelato or you can get one of their pre-packaged Aunty Tiffs gelato to take home.
The shop itself looked minimal and clean. Seats are available indoors and outdoors. Toilets are located outside the shop in the building. Parking is available alongside the streets, but it does get busy during peak hours.
