Looking for a family-friendly spot in the heart of Perth where both kids and adults can unwind? BrewDog Perth is a Scottish brewery chain. You may recognise its home, found in a cool, industrial space in West Perth. Previously brunch hotspot, Gordon St Garage, the brew pub offers a welcoming vibe for all ages.
Situated close to Watertown (which, to be fair, I still call Harbortown lol) and RAC Arena, BrewDog Perth is easily accessible for families shopping, heading to events and exploring the city. Whether you’re planning a casual lunch, a weekend outing, or a special family event, BrewDog Perth provides an enjoyable setting for each member of the fam.
The kiddos are welcome at BrewDog Perth, making it an ideal venue for lunch or early dinner outings. The venue boasts a spacious beer garden and outdoor courtyard, providing ample room for kids to play.
For entertainment, there’s retro arcade games,
a play kitchen,
board games, coloring books, and even a basketball hoop to keep the young ones engaged.
Upstairs, teens may like to shoot some pool.
There’s plenty of board games too.
On Sundays, BrewDog hosts a free Kids Club from 12pm to 2pm, featuring themed activities like crafts and games, allowing parents to relax with a drink while the children are entertained. During school holidays, the venue offers rotating free activities, including slime making, balloon art and more. The kids really enjoyed this and the staff were really friendly and inclusive.
The menu at BrewDog Perth caters to all tastes, offering a variety of crowd favourites including wings, burgers, and pizzas, plant-based options and gluten free accommodate dietary preferences. Mr H enjoyed a beer ‘n OKC burger, that had plenty of house made burger sauce.
I opted to be “healthy” and loved the super fresh poke bowl, with gourmet mushrooms, edamame, an addition of squid.
For children, there are kid-friendly meal options available, ensuring that even the pickiest eaters are satisfied. These come in a cute “hoppy meal” box, and include a soft drink in a plastic cup.
The kids enjoyed the nuggets and burger, both with fries and sauce.
All in all, I was pleasantly surprised just how child friendly Brewdog is. Next time I head to RAC Arena with the kiddos to watch sport, or a concert, this place would be ideal to head to for an easy meal.
