Broadwater Resort is located on the shores of Geographe Bay in Busselton, the 4-star resort offers fully self-contained accommodation options perfect for family holidays or romantic getaways. The resort facilities include an indoor and outdoor swimming pool, tennis court, hot tub, games room, BBQ facilities and private beach access.
During our visit, we stayed in a 3 Bedroom Tennis Villa which sleeps up to 6 people and is extremely spacious. Our villa included a fully equipped kitchen, dining area, comfy living room with a flatscreen TV and DVD player, bathroom with spa bath, washing machine, clothes dryer and a private veranda that overlooked the tennis court.
All bedrooms are a great size, the master includes a king bed, the second bedroom has 2 single beds and the third room was located up a spiral staircase with 2 single beds – if you have small children I wouldn’t suggest a villa with the spiral stairs. All linen and towels are supplied.
The kids loved bouncing between the indoor pool, hot tub and outdoor pool – I’m not a big swimmer but the heated indoor pool was too good to resist! There are plenty of sun lounges indoors and outdoors to sit back and relax. You can also bring food and drinks into the pool area, just no glass.
Located outside the pool area are BBQ facilities, tables and herbs for guest to use.
There is also a games room with arcade games, skill testers, a pool table and air hockey, games start from $1.
You can also book the outdoor tennis courts each day of your stay, bookings are made at reception.
There is a secure gate out to Geographe Bay where the water is calm and crystal clear, perfect for swimming and snorkelling – make sure you keep your eyes peeled, we spotted a dolphin just before sunset.
Halfway between the resort and the beach is a small playground with a rocking boat, swings and a slide.
The resort restaurant Stilts is a good option for breakfast, lunch, dinner or just popping in for a drink.

We couldn’t fault our stay at Broadwater Resort and will definitely return, the pool facilities were definitely the highlight but I also loved walking through the lush gardens to our villa and from the resort facilities. The free WiFi was faultless too. We only had a couple of interactions with the staff but they were all very friendly and were able to help when required. There is secure parking and luggage trolleys available to assist you moving your belongings.
Broadwater Resort is only a 15 minutes from the Busselton Jetty and 30 minutes from Margaret River.
