As a coffee lover, I was excited to experience the TWR Bird Cage High Coffee at Crown Perth which is a must-try for anyone looking for a unique and luxurious twist on the traditional high tea. The experience is perfect for special occasions or just a fancy treat with friends.
The High Coffee menu comes in two options: $69.50 per person (minimum 2) for nine items of sweet and savoury and an hour of bottomless tea and coffee from an extensive menu, or $89.50 per person for the above plus a coffee-inspired cocktail.
The elegant setting of TWR (The Waiting Room) at the Crown Towers, with its plush armchairs, marble floors, and soaring ceilings, creates the perfect ambience for a relaxing and indulgent afternoon tea experience.
One of the highlights of the experience was the charming rose gold birdcage that the High Coffee was served in.
The three-tier stand of sweet and savoury delights is perfect for sharing between two people.

The Dark Chocolate Cigar filled with Salted Caramel Ganache & Coffee Kahlúa is a decadent dessert that combines rich dark chocolate with a smooth salted caramel ganache and a hint of coffee Kahlúa. The Almond & Vanilla Financier with fresh Raspberry is a light and delicate cake that is infused with the flavours of almond and vanilla and topped with fresh raspberries. The Milk Chocolate Melting Moment filled with Coffee & Hazelnut is a rich and buttery cookie that is filled with a creamy coffee and hazelnut filling and topped with caramelized white chocolate.
