The brand new Myella Estate nestled on the northern banks of Lake Joondalup is home to a super fun playground worthy of exploring! The bright orange play structure definitely sounds out in this nature-based playground. The structure is suitable for confident climbers who can navigate climbing nets and ladders to reach the slide. In the sandpit area, you will also find a small tripod swing. The nature play area consists of a hammock swing – I was surprised this was my kids favourite feature. A series of balancing logs. And a small wooden lookout structure. My kids also loved the Read more…

Tucked away off James Spiers Drive is Regent Waters Playground, a small suburban playground. The location borders on Lake Joondalup and is very peaceful and pretty with birdlife and clusters of shady trees. Regent Waters Playground is sandbased and surrounded by plenty of grass with three large sheltered picnic tables scattered at intervals. There is a gas barbeque under the trees for public use, making this a good spot for a family picnic or event. There is no shade over the playground itself but plenty amongst the trees. The main play structure is a bit aged and stained from Read more…

Germano Park is a peaceful, leafy park with a playground to suit most kids located in Wanneroo. If your kids love to climb, they’ll love this park. What struck me first when we arrived at Germano Park was how quiet and green it was. The park is full of trees and soft birdsong. The playground area is covered by shade sails with a sand base. This features climbing rope equipment in the form of a rope tunnel, a rope ladder, and ropes with plastic platforms to balance across. Miss 3 was very proud of herself for getting across the platforms! Read more…

Rotary Park in Wanneroo is one of our favourite playgrounds, the park originally opened in 1979 since then the space has undergone major developments and has been really well cared for by the City of Wanneroo. We especially love the diverse range of equipment and different play opportunity for kids of all ages. The focal piece of the playground is a large wooden play structure that contains 4 slides, a climbing wall, fireman’s pole, climbing nets, shop front, music play and lots more to ignite little imaginations and challenge little adventurers. Making it easy for kids and adults, there are Read more…
