Nestled in the heart of Fremantle, The Pickled Fairy has been enchanting visitors since 1991. This whimsical store offers a delightful escape into a world of fairytales and mythology.
I was filled with so much nostalgia walking back in to this wonderland, as it was my favourite place to visit on weekends when I was a little girl. To now see my kids eyes light up in the same way was truly memorable for all of us.
At The Pickled Fairy, visitors will find a wide range of magical gifts to suit every budget. Whether you have a dragon-riding hero, a curious mermaid or a flighty fairy in your life, this place is for you.
A standout feature is the enchanted party room, where guests are encouraged to dress up and fully immerse themselves in the fairytale experience.
Beyond shopping and parties, the store offers a variety of activities to engage young visitors. We took pictures with real-life fairies, coloured in dragons at the colouring in station and tossed coins into the wishing well to make a wish with all proceeds going to charity.
My little girl even had her own special magic moment with Fairy Sandie from Ladybird Entertainment. Fairy Sandie has recently taken over The Pickled Fairy and given it a fresh new feel. We’ve seen her perform at festivals before and I couldn’t think of a better person to be carrying on the magic of this much loved Fremantle treasure.
Whether you are searching for a whimsical gift or costume, planning a memorable party, or simply looking for a bit of every day magic, The Pickled Fairy & Other Myths offers a world of enchantment waiting to be explored.
