Shelter Brewery Busselton

You can’t miss the epic Shelter Brewery. Not only is it opposite the Busselton Foreshore Park and the famous Busselton Jetty, but it’s HUGE! The beer barn is where it’s at for good brews, good food and good times.

Shelter Brewing Co. was created by locals “for anyone looking for a fresh, tasty beer and a good feed”. Sounds like my kinda spot. For lovers of craft beer, it’s made on-site and there’s plenty to choose from, so why not grab a tasting paddle?

The vast and lofty dining space looks out over the grassy Busselton foreshore, with the jetty beyond. Kiddos are well catered for with a playground found tucked away in a corner. There’s a sandpit, little slide, climbing net and more.

The cute as a button timber caravan will provide parents with enough time to enjoy a relatively peaceful meal, while the kids play.

The menu focuses on simple share food that’s made with fresh, local ingredients and delicious pizzas made in the bright yellow Marana Forni pizza oven, imported from Italy. I enjoyed a healthy Poke bowl, which was super fresh.

The beetroot salad looked delicious too.

The kids menu is good, with pizza, fish n chips, plus a yummy sounding meatball sandwich (with GF options too). A fruit basket will be great for a healthy snack or little nibblers. There’s plenty of high chairs on hand too.

And it’s not going to be hard to convince them to eat up all their yummy meals – especially when you have the neighbouring Shipwreck Playground as a bargaining chip!
