Serpentine offers numerous attractions for families and as it’s only about 30 minutes drive south of Perth city it’s a great short escape destination.
Serpentine Falls Caravan Park is a neat and tidy park with cabins, caravans, powered and unpowered sites. There is a laundry, BBQ area and pool (not heated) for guests to utilise.
Serpentine Falls Caravan Park is a really nicely laid out caravan park, well-maintained gardens, extremely clean and very affordable. There is also a roadhouse a short stroll from the park selling the usual holiday essentials, also with a cafe open until mid-afternoon every day.

Serpentine Falls
A very pretty place and not too far a walk to get to the Falls themselves from the parking area. It is accessible for prams and wheelchairs and there are a big BBQ and picnic area right near the parking area as well. A few hiking trails leave from here for those that are seeking a challenge. Please note the entry fee, something we weren’t aware of.
Jarrahdale Tavern
Pub with one of the best kids areas I have seen in Perth. The beer garden overlooks a great fenced outdoor play area which would be enjoyable for kids of all ages. The food was great and very generous servings. Sunday afternoon had some great live music on offer too. Read the Buggybuddys Review
Cohunu Koala Park
Great wildlife park with lots of free roaming animal experiences. Only very few koalas available to see and there is an extra cost for a photo with them, however, there are so many other kinds of animals that you quickly move on from the koalas. You can buy feed when you get the tickets and offer it to any interested animals. There is also a mini train ride (extra cost) around the park which was a nice way to see lots of animals. The park itself was a bit tired and it is a little more expensive than other animal parks in Perth but it is still a good day out.
