Runyeh Coffee, Heathridge

Parents of Perth’s northern suburbs will be stoked to hear a kid friendly cafe hit Heathridge in late 2023. Runyeh Coffee is found at the Caridean Shopping Centre – a stone’s throw from Joondalup and the Mitchell Freeway.

Runyeh Café has become quite the local hit! Even more so now that it has updated its play space to be even better. It features a custom cubby house from Tiki Tots, a local small business, small play kitchen items, and other small toys.

They still have their stepping stones positioned next to the funky cubby house, as well as the toy dinosaurs with some new additions from the animal kingdom. The picnic tables next to the play area give the adults an opportunity to join in on the play and still drink their coffee hot.

A simple game of corn holes will keep most kiddos entertained too.

To keep little hands busy there’s also a giant blackboard, with plenty of coloured chalk.

This newbie coffee roaster and cafe is fast becoming a brunch favourite and I can see why. Our drinks were spot on.

And the drool-worthy avo on toast and brisket benny will have us coming back for more!

There’s a kid’s menu, as well as a well-stocked cabinet with pastries and bagels to go.

Keeping things simple for morning tea, Miss 10 enjoyed a “fresh and fluffy” slice of banana bread from the cabinet, untoasted.

Miss 10 enjoyed a kid’s sized strawberry milkshake with thick boba-style straw- “the best ever” in her words. They can also come in a takeaway cup if you’d prefer your little one wasn’t let loose with a glass.

If you live in Heathridge, or surrounding suburbs you must check this spot out. The whole fam will love Runyeh Coffee.
