The venue boasts nine well-maintained lanes, each privately allocated to groups. This setup allows for an intimate experience, perfect for date nights, team-building events, or fun outings with friends.
The range of axes available is impressive, from Cold Steel Competition Throwers to Estwing Double Bit axes, catering to various preferences and skill levels.
One of the standout features is the inclusivity. While the minimum age for throwing real axes is 13, they thoughtfully provide foam and velcro axes for younger children, ensuring the whole family can join in the fun.

We had such a fun time at Maxed Out Axe Throwing. It’s such a fun atmosphere and such an excellent idea for a little date night or a fun activity to do with a group of friends. I was terrible! And that’s ok! You do not need to be a professional to play; it’s all about giving it a go. The staff members were so helpful in giving me directions and tips on how to land the axe on the board. After several attempts, I managed to get it on the board. My husband, on the other hand, was a total natural! You can play for fun or take a score!
Post-throwing, we followed a staff recommendation and visited the nearby Holy Mary Cellars for dinner and drinks, which perfectly rounded off our evening.
